Ooc: I was writing. Jason messed that up. I spent 1 1/2 hours writing a nice descriptive post then my comp crashed. ---- Bic: Yuriko slowly followed the girl from the comforts of the recreation center onto the spaceship: as they took off, she noticed how uncleanly it was. How befitting for the strange species next to her, but not for her: she was a Nin. She was a perfect, living doll and didn't deserve such rash treatment. Upon reaching the strange new world, she immediately took a disliking to it because of the strange, flying insects. However, looking up there was a sky that seemed to be in eternal sunset: the colors varied from a pinkish, orangish to a purplish color the further it faded out. Well, that was a little pretty. There were strange coral formations which she did not seem to understand: how did coral survive here? There was no water, no ocean. Soon they arrived at lights and she delicately stepped off towards them: the girl probably hadn't even noticed that she had tagged along. That was Yuriko: No one noticed her unless she wanted them to. Once she was closer to the lights, she found a beautiful structure. It was a glass staircase, leading up to a castle made of the same material, and it was breathtaking. She was slightly envious as she glided up the steps daintfully. <_< That's not a word, is it. XD As she nearly tripped, she saw something that amazed her - fish! There were fish, swimming under the staircase. Bubbles of water escaped from their mouths. It fascinated her, and she leaned down, putting her cheek right next to the glass, wanting to touch them -- And then realized what she was doing. It was embarassing that mere fish could distract her! With a hmph, she stood back up and continued up the stairs, and coming to the glass palace, knocking on the door softly. Perhaps someone would hear her. Perhaps someone wouldn't, and she'd be stuck here.

Wagging her slim, black, tail, Raiku grinned as she looked around the new world. It looked like someone had already made a town ( from the looks of the fish ). There were mysterious flying insects around, and the area perfectly matched the Nin in her group.
After passing some weird looking coral things, she saw a glass staircase and spotted a large, elegant looking castle with the OF symbol on it. OF symbols mean that the area had already been discovered, but the certain design meant that there were still some undiscovered things in the world.
Without regarding the Nin, the half, or the human, she pointed at the gleaming castle with a smirk and said, " Le's go 'n look fo' some treasures ~nyaa!!"
Without looking back, she ran from the stairs they were on, leapt on all fours, and sped away. Running on the glass floor was different from the mountains she was used to. It was slippery, and she could hear her claws scratching at the delicate glass. Smirking again, she felt sorry for the architect who spent all of the time to put them in and jumped onto a sturdy looking, glass gargoyle. Wrapping her tail neatly around her hands, she smiled and watched as the others in her group ran to catch up. She realized that she was one of the most energetic of the bunch, but thought that it was best that way. While sitting on the gleaming statue, she thought for a moment about her group. The Nin was dainty, like most nins, and didn't talk alot. The Half was a curious species to her, so she made a mental note to herself to ask more about her. The human was pretty plain in her case. Wasn't elegant like the Nin, wasn't intriguing like the half, but humans were mysterious on their own.
In their world, the humans had encountered many diseases after the massive accident, and the fact that the one of the only humans left in the world had joined the group was a stroke of luck. Wether it was good or bad luck, Raiku was still pondering. The diseases they had were the weirdest names in the world. Chicken Pox, Swine flue, Cancer? It all sounded like someone was on the farm. And the fact that cancer was a disease was just terrible. Cancer, the smallest of the zodiac, had helped Hera distract that dim witted God born human Herc a something, and had gained it's rightful place in the sky. Even it's sign was magical. For the humans to name a disease after cancer was just disgraceful.
Twitching her ears in annoyance, she noticed that the Nin had stopped and was farther away than anyone else. If no one else would notice, then she would probably stay there for the rest of her life, knowing the personality of Nins anyway.
Sighing, she leapt off the statue and yelled at her running comrades, " Gonna go get the Nin back o'er here, ya'll sit un'er the statu'a and wait fo' us, 'kay? Ya'll can g' on and eat 'cha lunch we made back o'er on the ship ~nyaa."
Raiku was proud of her accent and raced towards the confused looking Nin.

Signs of life-check Kotone walked with the rest of her group throught he deserted place, wondering if she had made a mistake, wondering if she would ever come back alive. The group proceeded to a strange glass castle. Why glass? won't it break? The castle was not fragile, though, and the elegant staircase was able to easily support the four of them. The neko girl-what was her name? Rai something?- was overly energentic, and annoyed Kotone. I'm really going to get sick of that accent she thought. The nin fell behind, and the neko went back for her. Following the human, Kotone sat by a gothic-looking glass gargoyle. Humans are so weak. I hope she doesn't make us fall behind Pulling out her lunch, Kotone took a big bite and gulped it down. From where they were in the castle, she could see all of the deserted town. We should check out the smaller buildings later she reminded herself. She took another bite, and looked at where the space ship had dropped them off. It was long gone by now, there was no turning back. Yawning, she zoned out for a while until she saw a shape in the distance running towards them. What... She stood up, and was just about to sound the alarm, when she heard a screech. -------------------------------- word count: 220 Yeah, too bad, Jessie. I'm keeping it this length. dum dum duuuummmmmmm CLIFF HANGER
