anyway..
Harvest Moon is a simulation game where you play either a boy or girl. In the game, most of the time, you were just given a plot of land in an area with different " problems ". In Sunshine islands, the problem is that the islands are sunken and you need to raise them up with fairy power blah blah blah. in Tree of Tranquility the " problem " is the tree of life, where you need to make rainbows with fairy power and blah blah blah.
The main goal of the games though is mostly to marry up, make some babies, and lots of money to buy animals, crops, better tools, and/or land depending which game.
There are games on teh DS, GBA, Wii, PSP, NES, and basically every other nintendo system that exists. There are also lesser known games that are sort of branched off of Harvest Moon, like Rune Factory and River King. Basically, they're all the same thing though.
