Hmm....
Well, basically it's a star. It answers a question that arises from the first card drawn, and you read the pattern counter-clockwise. the "star" has 6 points/cards and one more card in the center.
It helps you realize your current knowledge, what you will gain from it, the present and past of this question and a bunch of other stuff.

Heart of the Question: Let me attempt to word this as best as I can... The heart of the question ( the thing that the reading revolves around ) Is the failure to stop and think about all of your available options. Kind of like, jumping into water without testing it's temperature. Like... hasty decision and/or hasty decision making.
God that was hard...

Card: The star|||Present: Wow.. Right now, the state that the " heart" is in is balanced.
Kinda like you're on the right track...
Anyway..
Card: Two of swords|||Emotions: Not so awesome... Really really bad. Usually means like.. post-conflict kind of emotion. I have no idea how to describe that.
Think about it carefully now and be cautious is my word of advice to what happens.
Card: Three of cups|||What has yet to come: A newfound friendship and/or relationship. ( Uh-oh... rofl ). Or it could be a type of support to happen, like a formal aid ( counseling ).

Card: Eight of Swords||| Known Desires:Heightened Endurance, decision makeing, concentration on the small things, and overall balance. ( Like relationships, school, and home )
Card: Knight of Swords||| Intellect: Goal oriented. Like.. you know what you want and how to get it... I guess.However, when it comes to feelings or opinions, you lack the recognition of such things. I think.
God, my legs are numb now. I balance my laptop on my feet while sitting on my bed while reading the cards and typing.

You know, tarot was actually a game that was made to defy the Catholic Church by transferring banned ideas. The deck your using, does it have cards like The Female Pope, or the Lightning Struck Tower? Also, could you do the star pattern reading for me?

Card: The moon||| Present: You are in or giving off a state of fear. ( Pro'lly the later ) Also, your imagination and uncertainty levels are through the roof.
Oh God..
Card: Death||| Emotions: How to word this... Fresh, sort of. Like, you're balanced on the scale but you're not unbalanced. You're in a state of limbo.
Card: Judgement||| What is yet to unfold:A resolution of sorts. Everything that weighs you down will be released and your scale, so to speak, will be in perfect harmony.

Card: The world||| Outcome: Success. Yup, that's it.
Card: Nine of Swords|| Known desires: uumm.. I dunno if I flipped this card over right. If I did do it right, it means you want to... torture people

Well, for most of these cards to be a major arcana instead of a minor arcana is amazing. What I think it means is you're gonna go through hell but it's gonna be totally worth it.
