"Oh, sure." Alex bit his lip. What should he say? Maybe start with his background history. "Hmm. Well, I got into a car accident when I was 7. Before that, I was supposedly a bully or something, but after that, my dad rejected me so I stayed with my mom more, so I became sort of like a girl." He blushed, because it sounded so stupid. And unbelievable. Like, out of a fail manga. "Uhh...What about you?"

"Ahh...." Lilith took a tiny bite out of her hamburger and thought for a minute. Perhaps she should start at the beginning, like he did?
" When... I was small... my p-parents moved to a-a-a-another country for b-business. M-my brother.. has t-t-t-taken care of me since.... He's... t-ten years older than me and... h-helped me get into this... s-school"

"Ooh. I guess you have a pretty nice brother, then. I wonder what it'd be like to have siblings," Alexander said. He was an only child, so it was a little lonely especially since he didn't have many friends. Chewchewchew. Yummy Pizza. The cooking class didn't ever make much pizza, so to him, it was a treat. Because swimmers hated such fatty foods. "Hmm.."

"Kilian is.... overprotective. S-s-sometimes I think that... he s-s-spends more time making sure I'm okay, than having his own.... l-l-l-life. He's... almost.... 30, y-y-yet he doesn't have a.... g-g-girlfriend. S-s-s-sometimes I worry that I'm .... i-i-in his way."
Lilith took another bite out of her hamburger and sipped at her soda. She had never really thought much about Kilian's situation until a few years ago. Whether she wanted to or not, she had to think about it.

Alex stopped chewing his pizza. "Eh? But he's not just your brother, right?" Then he realized that sounded perverted. "Uh, I mean, he's like, your friend too...Because he's helped you to come all this way..." He grinned sheepishly. 'Oh god I'm so AWKWARD.'

"I've... always seen Kilian as...a b-b-b-brother. E-e-even though he has taken ..... care of me all this time, I... could never talk to him like... a friend. It's just.... one of those things that's... th-th-there. I guess... you can't really... u-u-u-understand. A-a-after all... I don't understand it... m-m-myself..."
Lilith finished eating her hamburger and chugged down the last of her soda. In the end, she told more information about herself. Even though she wanted to learn more about Alexander, she figured she'd have another time.
"I have... L-language arts.... after lunch. D-d-do you want to meet up.... somewhere... halfway....?"

He also finished his food. "Oh, okay. We have a break halfway through which most people attend, so I can just see you then." Of course he wasn't usually one of the 'most people' who attended it, because he liked to stay behind, but whatever. It was more fun to be with a friend. Besides, he might be able to make and sneak something out for Lilith.

" Th-th-then... I guess.. I'll see you... later. O-okay?"
Lilith gave Alexander an awkward wave goodbye and pushed past the crowd of people moving towards the door. It was easy to get lost in the wave, so Lilith kept herself close to right wall. Her brown hair occasionally obscured her view, but she somehow managed to get to her language arts class. After a quick breather inside the classroom, Lilith took her seat and pulled out several notebooks. Another class, another hour.

COOKING CLASS. But today he was confronted by a girl. She was one of the popular ones, and she was wearing one of those weird low cut tops that can only be pulled off by the popular people. [[Oh god I just ran out of MomoKai SHI. I might get moody again. DDx]] "Oh, look who it is. Our little Alexander," she sneered. "How'd you like the cheap cupcakes on sale today? They look amazingly like yours." But this was cooking class. So he didn't give a shi. Because he had rep in here. "Come now, Yuma, don't be mean to Alex. He's the best cooker in here, and you know it," her friend whispered. "If my cooking is good, then I'm fine about how much it costs." He brushes his hair behind his ears. "And besides, it's better that way. Better than overcharging two dollars a cupcake, and then seeing their disgusted face when it tastes like roadkill." "Why you---" "Class is beginning now." The teacher walked in, smiling with her auburn hair perfectly curled around her shoulders. She seemed nice, and many people fell for that. But the class knew differently, so Yuma quieted down and went back to their seats. -- Is yuma even a freaking name I know Yumi is OMG I NEED MORE MOMOKAI

After sitting quietly for a few minutes, Lilith happily noted that other students began to shuffle into their seats and quiet down. Several moments of silence fell before the deafening boom of the language arts teacher energetically coming into the room. The language arts teacher was known for being eccentric and joyful, and sometimes even a little odd... But Lilith liked him. Very much so.
" Okay everyone, let's do some wa~rmups!"
After going through three questions of warmups, a pop-quiz, and a quick reading session from Shakespeare, class came to it's halfway mark.
" Allright, everyone~ Time for independent study~"
As usual the majority of the students left the class to mingle with other "independent" studiers. At this point of time, most teachers enjoyed throwing out independent study sessions. In the end, the teachers were only human, and took naps at this point. They didn't care if the students even study. So long as they got a bit of shut-eye.
Lilith brought up all of her belongings and quietly exited the room with the steady stream of students. The hallways were quiet, save for the occasional murmuring of students. Step by step, Lilith brought herself to the cooking class. The door was, thankfully, open, so Lilith let herself in. Students were milling about next to each other, speaking and munching on different snacks. Lilith spotted Alexander in the corner of the room and began to make her way towards him.

Alex did not see Lilith. Instead, he was attempting to create a large version of the buttercup roses that he'd put on the cupcakes. "Hmm...So I can't use this type of pink, because it looks like hot pink and the customer specifically said no hot pink. (The teacher gave everyone a handout with specifics on what a fake customer wanted; this way the students could get associated with filling orders) But I can't use that baby pink either, it's too bland and doesn't go with the cake. Because the girl's outgoing, I need the flowers to be a dark color, maybe a red? Then the icing could be white, and the cake itself could be a red velvet cake. Should I create fake icing pearls and hang them on the cake? But the pearls would be white, too, so then the cake itself would have to be pink...But a pink cake doesn't work for red velvet..." He sighed.

Lilith stood behind Alexander and watched him argue against himself. It was always interesting to watch a person when they didn't know you were watching. All sorts of interesting facial expressions were shown. The sweet scent of cupcakes wafted into Lilith's nose. Although she didn't have a sweet tooth, Lilith closed her azure eyes and soaked up the smell. It brought back nostalgic memories long forgotten by Lilith.
Someone was cooking cupcakes. Or was it cakes? And it was warm. Everything was warm.
Lilith opened her eyes again and continued to watch Alexander. Most people would say something, but Lilith wasn't like most people. Because in the end, she enjoyed watching. Not interacting. The sidelines was where Lilith was meant to be.

"Gah, I'll just go without the pearls." He still hadn't noticed Lilith, or the fact that everyone was busy chatting. Alex went over to the oven, where he had been baking his cake. He'd made three, just like everyone had been instructed to do: a chocolate one, a red velvet one, and a normal white cake. He decided to use the red velvet, and walked over to get some sugar. Yuma, from earlier, came over with a packet of icing. She grinned as she traded it off for the one that had been left on the table. When Alex came back, he automatically took the icing and began to painstakingly squeeze it on the cake. "What? Why is it black? It's supposed to be pink...!" "I guess you used the wrong icing, transexual," laughed Yuma.

Lilith continued to watch the cooking class. A girl had clumsily switched one icing pack from another. Lilith unhappily noted that other students watched what took place but said nothing. The poison. It was here too. Although she hated to end it short, Lilith decided to confront Alexander. Quietly, she took position between him and the girl and gave a small smile.
" Hello again."
Lilith made sure to tilt her head to the side to block any view of the poisoned girl. It would be best if Alexander didn't notice her facial expression.

"Oh!!! Hi, Lilith!" He totally forgot about his cake for a second. "Oh...Sorry, I totally forgot, I was so absorbed..." He smiled, but it was a worried smile. Was Lilith angry at him? Then he looked down and sighed. "Oh well, since it's black already, I might as well make the whole thing black." Hmm. Black cake, red roses, white pearls. Cut it open, it's red velvet.
That was nice... "Hey, thanks, Yuma!"
