This is a concept that I created. It's so close to EPIC it's not even funny but meh. I would have to create the classes, the storyline for Qu'amLa'hb, NPCs, world maps, etc...But I've wanted an MMORPG RP for a while (whether it be my own or it be one such as RO) and, well, Epic sorta just pushed me over my limit.
o.o;
I WANT OPINIONS AND CC. I know I wrote 'You' a lot and I skip around a lot, I wrote this quite late at night...
I need help making it more...Idn, the term i'd like to use is 'epic' lmao
----
A unique, highly advanced technological headset sits alongside a never-before seen game console inside a cardboard package, which is furthermore protected from the ceaseless rain from the protection of a mailbox. The water droplets pitter-patter on the metal, creating a klinking sound. Emerging through the steadily pouring raindrops is a small, shabby long-haired girl. Her bag is already full of possessions that she's pilfered from various houses, and this is her last stop before returning to her owner. Hastily, she scoops out most of the mailbox's contents into her bag, but just as she is to sweep a second time to ensure that it all is in there, a man spots her and shouts. Frightened, she runs away quickly; her owner's decision to choose her for her nimbleness was a good one.
Or was it?
(*)
You, whoever you are, have recieved a headset and a game console from who knows where. Upon recieving it, it's your choice to see what it does. For all you know, it could be a killing device. Yet, curiosity lingers...And, well, no normal human being doesn't give into curiosity after a while, right?
After you put it on (which, despite the fact that it curls entirely around your ears and eyes, fits perfectly and is fairly easy to put on), you will be launched immediately into the rules of the MMORPG Qu'amLa'hb (QuLa). MMORPG, as some know, is abbreviated for massively multi-player online role-playing game...All of this is included in the Terms and Agreements: But what the heck, no one ever READS the Terms and Agreements, do they? It's all a load of crap, and you, just like everyone else, don't even bother to scan through it. The console itself, which is surprisingly lightweight for its numerous buttons, leaves you somewhat panicked as you attempt to figure out how to press OK. However, the letters on the console are indented and as you type in the simple response of 'ok', everything goes black for a few seconds...Then you're directed to the Character Screen. Here you can choose your gender, and what typical class you wish to be.
Qu'amLa'hb hasn't really lived up to it's 'massively multi-player' part of the MMORPG yet; that'll be for you and the other players that have recieved headsets. The 'online' part of it is not actually hooked up to a main wi-fi source, but instead an unwavering internet that has been linked up to all parts of the world; even the remotest areas. The game itself is not a typical MMORPG full of grinding exp and doing pointless quests. NPC interaction is high; different questions ignite different responses, and the whole game is one epic, long storyline. Tragedies may happen, but you may bring happiness to many lives as well. Saying the right thing to NPCs may start a quest, and all of the world you are partaking in (as it is known, Loe'hg) is the detail --- the graphics ... All of it is so realistic that you wonder which is real: the world that you've been living in? ...Or this one? For you may take a rock, and hurl it towards the water. Infinite ripples appear. Obtain another rock, and throw it in the air; it'll rise, fall, gravity pulling it. The sun unbearably beats on your back, and when it rains, it pours.
But, meh, maybe you're not the one for MMORPGs. Maybe you don't like games whatsoever, or you're too 'old'. Perhaps you do like the aspect of it, but you want to take a break as it is late and sleep awaits. In any case, you try to take the headset off.
But it won't come off. It's stuck, and you can't leave the game.
(*)
So now you're wondering what to do. All you can see is the world of Loe'hg, and as you wildly shake your head, trying to take the headset off, various NPCs look at you with strange expressions; they quite obviously think you've gone insane. The fact that you don't know how to get out is distressing. You try typing in 'log off', 'leave', 'exit'; none of them work. What to do now?
Really, it's quite easy how to leave the game itself. Everything you needed to know, the whole strategy, storyline, and manual was already included for you.
If only you'd read the Terms and Agreements.
(*)
And the owner of the consoles, the <Administrator> sits at their desk, watching multiple screens as new characters are created every now and then. After noticing that not a single person logs off (whether it be that they do not know how or that they simply love the game that much, the owner does not know), a smile is formed.
(*)
Since you do not know what to do, and the screams of help do not seem to help in any way (as they are all instead transported into the game for some strange reason), you understand that you're stuck. It seems quite disconcerting at first, but after a while you bite back your fears and begin to explore. Only then will you experience the full extent of the strange yet wonderful world of Loe'hg... Much is to be learned, and after a while you may encounter other players in the game. You can become allies or enemies, friends or foes, for or against. Yet all of you have the same question: How do you get out?
After reaching a certain point in the game, perhaps you'll ask an NPC, simply out of desperation.
They won't give you full answers, but hints. The hints will point to one of the two ways: A long quest, which fufills all of the aspects of the game. It is, remarked by the NPCs, 'The Final Ending'. They all seem to look towards it with longing, yet you know, as NPCs, they will never obtain it.
So you set out on your quest: what you are, who you are with, and your personality will highly influence how the game turns out for you. You may loathe or savor every second that you play. All you know is that you have to stock up on potions while you're in Town, because if you die (For no one has tried it, no one knows if it is a perma-death system) then you may well be stuck in the game forever.
So pick your class and go.

Lu'hbLa'hb has been edited to Qu'amLa'hb, which is the proper grammar, Lu'hb is not actually a word, I don't know what the heck possessed me to think it was. That's how crappy I am at Thai.
It's La'hb, by the way. Remember that World is Loe'hg, not Roe'hg, because Roe'hg means Disease. Loe'hb means selfishness....
Ahh, the confusingness of Thai language....

I am looking for help with the following:
Maps (Towns), Character Class (Concepts, Stats, Artwork), Quests, NPCs, Monsters, Storyline
MAPS
Sii'am: A beautiful, asian-like feel to the town is achieved by the many buildings that are elaborate and decorated in gold. Many NPCs here do not speak English, however, and without relationships to Asia, you may have problems finding the true location. If there was a main town, this would definitely be it; it's in the middle of the world and is very easy to gain access to. Despite its beautiful gold appearance, many of the NPC's here are monks and very peaceful - although they like to keep their secrets.
CHARACTER CLASSES
Note: All of these names can and WILL be changed so don't go posting 'I want to be blablabla' yet as not everything is set in stone; some classes may be discluded in the end. 'OP' is the final stage. If there is '/' then you can choose which one you want to be. (Ex. if you are Trainee, you can choose to be EITHER ninja OR samurai.)
trainee -> ninja / samurai -> OP: Asian mafia
thief -> Assassin / pirate -> OP: Executioner (Give me better name please)
healer -> Priest -> OP: Healage /
mage -> Wizard -> OP:
warrior / Squire -> Knight -> OP:
defenders -> Crusaders -> OP:
trader -> Merchant OP: Landlord
medicine creators -> doctors -> OP: Professor
archer -> sniper / shadow ranger -> OP:
QUESTS
NPCs
William - A short, rather random NPC that, upon entering his shop, shouts out strange obscenities. He owns a pet chicken that likes to reside on his head; he has named it ATTACKCHICKEN. He is always obtaining different items, and often is not even INSIDE his shop, but instead leaving it to train and obtain different items. He, through all the strangeness, is quite knowledgeable and although he does have strong powers, does not abuse it: instead, he rather uses his annoyingness to ward many off.
Ke'vinh - A funny NPC, he seems to long for what he cannot have. Strength is not an issue for him, and he is quite kind. Although he may seem offensive at times, he is not ignorant. He simply does not know some things, and after getting to talk to him you may become quite attached.
Mali - An Asian NPC that lives in Sii'am, she is often known for her fragrant flowers. She specializes in Jasmine flowers and makes perfume from them, which have very potent healing powers. Unfortunately, she does not speak any language other than Thai, and buying her perfumes are very hard to obtain because of this fact.
