Fluttering her eyes open, the young girl grinned and jumped out of her pink engulfed bed. Long hair trailing after her, she quickly pushed it back and wondered the troubles only a girl knows. Changing quickly, her blue eyes sparkled at the small flower hairpin in her hand. Carefully clipping it in, she flew around the corner of her room and ran out the door, grabbing her things on her way. Breathlessly screeching to a halt, her pale skin turned a bright red as she saw the young boy wave at her. Greeting each other, they walked off in merry laughter.
After an exhausting day, the bright sunny sky began to be shrouded in a dark overhang of clouds. As the heavy poor of rain fell onto the people below, the young boy and girl stared in dismay. Discretely pulling out a blue umbrella out of her bag, the young girl cried in shock as the young boy leaned over her shoulder and whispered in her ear. Nodding a bit too swiftly, the girl pulled out her umbrella and snapped it open. Hand in hand, they strolled down the densely packed sidewalk. Praying he didn't notice, the girl felt a blush creep into her skin and sighed in delight at her hand in his, gripping the long umbrella.
Closing her eyes, she prayed in silence and blinked in surprise as the young boy pointed out something.
"Look."
Feeling her heart flutter at his voice, she glanced at where he was pointing.As her eyes widened at the rainbow that danced across the sky, fond memories of her childhood flooded her and left just as quickly.
As they continued to walk, the young boy waved a goodbye and quickly jogged off. Turning around, the girl felt her face flush more than before and quickly whispered three, heavy, words.
" I love you"
As the spotted rays of sunlight flew through bright pink curtains, a young girl flitted her eyes open and smiled in pleasure at the wonderful dream.
