Alex looked at Yuusuke with surprise. He actually thought they were going to be the first ones up the mountain? He would give Yuusuke credit though. Yuusuke was pumped. He wasn't though. If this mountain is as tough as they say it is, would they really be able to make it to the top? Alex still couldn't even grasp a bit of his power. Yuusuke might be good at it, but they need both people in the team to help. Alex wasn't sure if he could accomplish helping his comrade.

Isabella had migrated over to Randy with Yumi (srry if i spell it wrong). They were all in a group together, but this wasn't going to work out to well. Isabella was in a mini depression for not having a video game, and Randy wouldn't even listen because she was listening to music. They would probably be the last ones up the mountain. They were going to have to work together to climb the mountain. But first, they needed to get along.
"Randy... I know you're always listening to music. What type of music do you like?" She started with something simple.

Randy glanced over at her. <A simple enough question. I guess it's safe to answer> Deliberately whispering so as not to be the annoying person who yelled over their music, she said, "Everything. I listen to all types of music."

Diane felt her brain's veins pulse as she glared over at Kei. Kei had noticed that indeed, they were not the only people on the mountain.
" Kei... I told you to enhance security, and this happens?"
Grimacing Diane looked over Kei's shoulder to the students. They were milling about, wondering what was going on.
" Sorry D. Checking up on it now."
Diane watched as Kei's eyes unfocused and blurred.
" Again with this D nonsense..."
" Urgh...Ah! No way."
Diane gave Kei a questioning glance as he jogged over to where the path where they had come from. He began hysterically waving at a figure that was in the distance. As the figure got closer, Diane sighed with releif.
" This is the other person?"
As the woman and Kei walked over to Diane, Kei gave a wink and chuckled.
" I'll take it from here you two."
Smiling, the young woman turned on her heels and faced the group. Smiling, she cleared her throat and looked expectantly at them.
" Hello, everyone. My name is Silvia, and I will be helping Diane and Kei at the task of supervising you. I am happy to announce that here is indeed where we will be splitting up. So, don't get split from your team and be safe, okay? Oh yeah, and have fun!~"
As she quirked her head to the side, Silvia's bright blond curls bounced as her tiny body shook in happiness.

Yumi slowly looked over her group and tilted her head to the side slowly.
" Shall we...?"

Yuusuke was practiclly twitching in excitement.
" Come on Alex, we gotta be the first ones, okay?"
If even one group got before them, Yuusuke shuddered at the thought. They might trample over the great ingredients! He would not let that happen.

Alex looked over at Yuusuke. "Uh... sure." He began to climb after his overly anxious partner.

Isabella nodded in repsonse to Yumi's question. "We may hate this, but we have to do it."
She looked over at Randy to get her response to Yumi's question. She didn't see anything, which made her believe Randy was still listening to music. She didn't want to find out though. She started walking forward.

Randy stayed behind Isabella and Yumi as they walked up a mountain path. A few times she thought she saw something among the trees, but whenever she looked closer, there was nothing there. <Why do we have to climb a mountain, anyway?> She fumed silently. <What’s the point? Our grades, lives, or even future don’t depend on climbing this mountain, so why should we? It’s just another stupid thing adults come up with to waste time> Randy longed for an instrument of some kind, but knew that she had been smart to bring her MP3 instead.
"Hey," she said quietly, walking up to Diane and Kei. "When are we going to get there?"
