With sad, forlorn eyes, Crystal's gaze swept through the fountain area. Everyone had been gathered and were slowly being ushered into the doors and led to the Event Hall. The Academy had been put on a lock-down during the night after the workers finished the cafeteria's renovations. Crystal had sent all other school workers on a holiday, which was rare, for it to be on the first day of the term. Eyes closing, Crystal thought long and hard. Gently, she opened her eyes and began the slow climb down the stairs of the bell tower.

" What's going on?"
" Don't worry, you'll be told about everything soon."
Sighing, Kei watched as the concerned silver walked along with the other crowd members.
" It's almost time Kei."
" I know, D. You got the security tighter than usual, right?"
" Of course."
" Just double checking..."
Trailling off, Kei glanced at the group of kids seated in the large room. The air was thick with fear and dread. Sighing, Kei followed Diane to the hastily set up podium and sat in the chairs near it. It was going to be one hell of a day.

Slowly, Crystal walked up to the podium. Gripping the microphone, she paused and saw sets of anxious eyes gazing at her. An unnatural hush fell through out the room as the students waited to hear what was going on. Closing her eyes she brought the microphone closer to her and began to explain.
" Good morning, students of Crystal Academy. I understand that many of you are concerned about why I have decided to hold this emergency meeting here at this time."
Pausing, she gazed back at Diane and Kei as their grim faces stared back. Looking back to her audience, she continued.
"I have some unfortunate news to tell you, but first I shall start at the beginning."
Four hundred years ago, this school was founded after a deadly war erupted. The war was never recorded into history books as part of the deal made by humans, but remains an important part of this world. Few beings from the war lived, but their rare bloodline continued through their ancestors, flowing through each generation.
The few people with these rare blood lines were invited into this school, designed to protect the rare bunch from being hunted by humans with hatred in their hearts. However, it was not it's true purpose.
Before the war ended, six creatures locked away our greatest enemies.
Hiina, Kaine, Satell, Cora, Rina and Rei, used their lives to seal the evil.
The blood that ran through each of these creatures runs through each student that Crystal Academy has ever taught. If ever the case that the power that sealed the Shadows broke and set them free, then those few in our academy would save humanity." Each and every one of you are vital to fight back the Shadows that have escaped.Not only are the 5 levels in this academy important, they also represent how much a person knows. A Crystal bearer shall know everything, while a Bronze will know nothing of it's blood. However, Diane, Kei, and I understand if you are unwilling to aid us. If you wish to not take part of this, than you may leave this room and continue your studies here as if nothing happend, and your powers will forever lie sleeping inside of you. However, if you do wish to help us, then you will stay here and allow us to awaken your power to it's full potential."
Slowly, a majority of the students got up and left the Event Hall. Closing her eyes, Crystal prayed that at least a few students would remain. After the room was filled with silence. Carefully opening her eyes, Crystal smiled and gently spoke into the microphone.
" I take it that you five will be staying with us then?"

Grinning, Kei lead the same five people he had the other day to Crystal's home.
" Thanks for sticking with us guys. I know it wasn't an easy pick."
Grinning he twirled around and began to walk backwards.
" We don't need to know why it is you stayed, but you won't regret your decision."
" Only because we aren't letting you leave until the very end."
Sighing, Diane walked up from behind tucked a peice of her hair behind her head.
" Although I would've preferred if you stayed behind."
Glaring at Alex, Diane continued to walk towards the strangely shaped building. Pulling out a small key, Kei put it in backwards and opened the door.
" Lessons begin now, so please take a seat."
As each student stepped in, they felt a number of different things as they looked through the building. The building was round, in the shape of a circle and had different pictures on it's walls. As they looked up, they saw different kinds of glass and stones hanging from the ceiling. In the center of the building were 8 chairs in a circle around what looked like a fortune teller's ball.
After everyone had situated themselves in their seats, Crystal began to tell them about the blood that flowed through them.
PAY ATTENTIONNymph - creatures with magical voices and musical skills. Often help support their allies or distract Shadows.
Magician- ( NO ONE is a magician except for Crystal ) Creatures that were once human. Can support their allies from behind by casting spells.
Spirit- creatures that control either air or sea ( these are mine, too bad
) Air spirits can create weather ( like alchemists ) and can change it fast enough to destroy Shadows. Water spirits [ mermaid squeeee~ ] can float in the air by using the water in the surrounding areas and can trap Shadows by encasing them on all sides.
Hydra- controllers of Earth, can basically do anything with it [ earthquake, giant vines to whip etc ] ( kinda more like fairies of the earth but fairies are *rant rant rant*)
Dion - Creatures born from bolts of lightning that strikes a.... never mind it's complicated can control lightning and fire, and sometimes, light itself
Shadows- Most shadows are beings that want to take over a humans body, but very rarely there are shadows that are on the good side, k? They can control darkness and shadows etc...

I expect for u guys to pick what matches ur character. Alex can choose Hydra or Shadow, it's up to u >.>
