-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Alex nodded and walked back to the dummy. "Fear is the key,"he thought. All he needed to do was to remember how it felt to use his power and than use that feeling to summon his powers until he got used to it.
He felt that same wonderful sensation that he felt early when he summoned his power and picture the blackness he saw in the ball. Nothing had happened at first, but after a few more times of trying, the power came through. He took control of the dummy's shadow and was able to use the dummy however he pleased.
"This is going to be a sweet power," Alex thought.

Isabella didn't have to do anything special to figure out her power. The light she automatically pictured from the crystal ball unleashed her power. Little lightning bolt looking things exploded all over the place. She wasn't sure what they were, but she knew they had to do with light. She tried again this time, and got the specks of light to hover for a moment. She was able to move one and aimed straight for the dummy. The dummy exploded.
Her eyes light up in enjoyment. "Just like video games all over again!"

Nymph's can control things with their songs or instruments. It varies

After getting used to her water abilities, Yumi suddenly became very tired. After a moment's pause, she controlled the water and wrapped it around her body. It felt cool and relaxing as Yumi gently let her self slip into the water.
Glancing over at his sister, Yuusuke was shocked to see her submerged in water. Although she didn't look like she was struggling, Yuusuke jogged over to inspect the scene.
" She's sleeping!"
Gently whispering, he pocked the water a bit and noticed that something was a bit off about his sibling. Looking her up and down, he realized that she had a long tail instead of legs, and she was somehow breathing in the water. In puzzlement, he stood there dumbfounded and continued looking at her.
Gently opening her eyes, Yumi noted that her legs had formed fins and that she could breathe underwater. Looking to the left of her, she saw her brother standing there with a dumb look. As a little sigh escaped her, she lifted up her head and felt the air on her skin.
" May I help you?"
After a fit of hysterical laughs, Yuusuke snorted out an answer.
" Nope."
".... You are a hopeless idiot."
With that, she submerged herself in the water again and tried to swim around. Just as she had suspected, the water moved where she wanted to move, allowing her to swim faster than she could even run.
After watching his sister move around a little, Yuusuke wondered if he could do something like that with the cloud that was still up on the ceiling. Beckoning it closer, he wrapped it around his feet and felt himself lift off the ground. Grinning, he moved around gently testing the air. To his dismay, he wasn't as fast as his now finned sister, but he could move pretty high up.

Shadow, nymph etc.
Nymphs gotta sing a fast song though. Normal nymphs have their songs turn into little notes floating around in the air. By moving their hands it can move the notes and hit an enemy or ally. It all depends on what song.
Kinda like dancing and singing I guess...

Alex had an idea. If he could control shadows of people, than maybe he could control shadows of object as well. Maybe he could blend in with the shadows.
He first tried with moving the shadow of the wall. Nothing happened at first. Than, he moved over to the wall and touched it's shadow. He slided the shadow across the floor using his hand. He couldn't move it with just thinking though.
"Too soon for that,"he thought.
He sat down on the wall and tried out his second idea. Nothing was happening. He wasn't blending in at all, except for his hair of course. Alex wasn't too pleased with this, but he couldn't say much for it.
"Damn. I wish little miss light girl would go somewhere else. It doesn't make it very easy to concentrate on darkness when you have light blinding you. I should work out that darkness thing."
He got off the wall and walked back to the dummy. He was going to master the art of controlling shadows, even if it killed him.

Isabella was coming along nicely with her power. She could easily blow up the dummys standing in front of her. Summoning light from the air wasn't that difficult after all. After playing violent video game after another, this really was nothing. She than looked over to see how the others were doing. Alex was just sitting on the wall. "Guess he's not doing to well." SHe turned her head over to Yumi and Yuusuke. They were floating in little water bubbles.
"I could probably do that," she thought. She summoned a whole bunch of the ligth particles and formed a bubble of light. She jumped in started to swim in the light. She was having such a good time.
"I guess the term stay away from the light doesn't apply to the situation." She chuckled once more and jumped out.
She let the light dissapate. Than walked over to Diane. "Uh. I think I'm done with the dummy things. Can I move up to the obstacle creatures or little monsters?"

Frowning Diane took into process the girl's words.
" The creatures will have to wait. For now, yes you may go to the obstacle course. Be cautious though, I've rigged it with quite a few traps to get your mind stimulated."

Music, huh, Randy thought. Shoulda figured.
She quickly slipped out of the room to grab an instrument. She chose her flute, because it was small and kind of portible, and headed back to the room. Standing in a corner, she closed her eyes, and began to play the Fur Elise, but with a jazz-like rhythem. It was oddly soothing, and when she opened her eyes, she found that the guy who showed them around(he was closest to her at the time)-Kei-looked like he was gonna pass out. She stopped. Can't do that, she thought. Better play something faster.

" Careful where you use that thing kiddo. I suggest you try harnessing your powers with your voice before you move onto that thing."

Randy back glared at him.
"I. Don't. Sing."
She angrilly brought the flute back up to her mouth and tried an upbeat song. This filled her with energy, so much that she felt she could stay up all night and the day after with out yawning once.
"Sweet."

Sighing, as Randy angrily began an upbeat song, he quickly yelled over the music.
" You may not sing, but the nymph blood inside ya does."
Grinning, he quickly waved and walked over to Diane.

After getting used to swimming in air, Yumi had grown sleepy again and had decided to take a quick rest. Looking at her brother, she noted that he was making concoctions with his new powers and was energetically throwing invisible ingredients into an invisible pot.
" Once again, an idiot...."

Isabella was happy she said yes. She merrily skipped over to the obstacle course and tried her luck there. She thought it looked easy, but it really wasn't. She took her first step forward and stepped on a rope that unleashed shuriken from the sides. She nearly screamed, but instead jumped back out of instinct.
She took and deep breath, half paniced. "So much for a friendly school," she thought.

Alex wasn't getting anywhere. He tried to move the dummy's shadow again, but didn't get anywhere. He tried to move the shadow of the wall with his hand again, but that also didn't work. He thought about the feeling he felt when he summoned his power in fear. He still didn't get anything at all coming out of him. He tried again with the wall, but still he got no where. He groaned and slumped against the wall. This just wasn't working out.

After the short break, Yumi flicked her tail and quickly propelled herself towards Kei, stopping short before crashing into him.
" May we practice with each other? Some students appear to have some difficulties with their powers..."
Glancing over at an exasperated Alex and a screaming Isabella, Kei awkwardly laughed.
" I don't see why not."
Giving a curt nod, Yumi flicked her tail again and propelled towards Alex.
" May I have the honor of dueling you? Kei said that we may practice with each other."

Looking over at his sister, Yuusuke surmized that they were aloud to work together. He didn't really care though. Grabbing at the random ingredients wasn't working as he had planned, so he had decided to try and make them a little more visible.
Grabbing one of his previous creations, he thrust it onto his tools and watched as the different materials came into view. Now was the time to experiment.

Yumi realized that her tail would have been hysterical to the boy if she hadn't been there. Flicking her tail once more, she swam back a few paces and gently swished her fins back and forth. Grabbing at the air around her, a gentle smile graced her lips.
" Shall we begin?"
As the axe formed in her hand, she flicked her tail towards Alex and threw the axe at him.

Okay week change.

Bright green eyes blazed through the darkness and glanced at the severed bodies in the room. A soft growl rumbled in it's throat as a similar looking creature plodded up to it. After a few grunts, they grabbed a few pieces of the corpse and plodded into the darkness. As they stepped into the moonlight, they began tearing at the meat and horking them down their throats. Their slitted eyes stood out from their misshapen head. A large pair of legs accompanied short front - claws, short, crooked tails sweeping the air. A foul scent engulfed them and grew more powerful as they walked. After finishing their meal, they exchanged more grunts and plodded into the darkness. Pausing, one looked at the half moon and let out an eerie yowl that would chill the heart of one who would happen to hear it.
Glancing up from her book, Crystal shivered as she heard the echoing howl of a Shadow's Will. They were getting closer, and The Academy's defense wouldn't hold them off for long. Sighing, she took her reading glasses off and placed them onto her desk next to her book. Grabbing her phone, she quickly dialed a number in and waited.
" Prepare them for battle. "

"Oh shit," mumbled Alex. "Throw an axe as while someones not prepared." Then, talking a bit louder, he added, "We're supposed to be getting along. Don't try to kill me."
*He dodged the axe by the way.*
"I would fight back, but not sure how to, so... I'll just wait for some fear reaction to spring or I have to try something to save my life."

"I think I'll stick with the dummy for now."
She was still gasping for breath.
